Every year the AID is a little different than the last. However, some parts of the program always return, because they are loved by participants. Below is an overview of some program elements part of this year's AID.
Show Night
On Saturday evening, Wageningen's Main Square in the city center transforms into an open-air stage. On every corner of the market you can discover a different performance, live music or other surprising acts. From fire-breathers, musical, sing-a-long stages to amazing lit up performances. You can also take part in creative and interactive workshops from different act of dancing or music or something else magical. Together with the locals you will enjoy the different shows around the square and inside the church during the evening.
Sports day
During the Sports Day, you will get the chance to try a variety of sports that Wageningen has to offer. Burn off some energy, discover sports you may never have heard of before, and have fun with your AID group. Afterwards, visit the Sports Market to explore the different sports associations and perhaps find one you would like to join during your studies in Wageningen.
Study day
Study Day is an essential part of the AID. You will meet your future classmates, learn more about your degree programme, and receive practical information about your study and the university in general. The day ends with a dinner together with your study association on campus, after which you will rejoin your AID group for the evening programme.
Infomarket
Without the Infomarket you would miss out on a lot that Wageningen has to offer! The Infomarket is filled with around 150 stands with a range from sport association, student associations, cultural organisations, religious organisation and much more. Take a look around, ask questions and discover your interest here!
Sing-A-Long
One of the most popular AID traditions is the Sing-A-Long. During this evening, everyone comes together to sing along to well-known songs, enjoy a drink and celebrate an unforgettable week with their AID group.
Festival: Breaking Ground
The AID ends with a bang a the closing festival on campus. Celebrate the end of an unforgettable week with live music, drinks and the friends you have made throughout the AID.
