Dinner on the Dike XL 2026 - AID x Food of Cultures
On Saturday 15 August 2026, the Grebbedijk will once again be transformed into one long dining table for Dinner On The Dike! For this unique dinner, Food of Cultures – part of Restaurant & Cultuurplein De Blaauwe Kamer – and the Annual Introduction Days (AID) organised by Wageningen University & Research are joining forces once more. Around 3,500 visitors are expected on the evening, spread across various time slots, during which they can once again enjoy delicious food, live entertainment and, above all, the chance to meet one another. The event will take place between 17:00 and 21:00 on the Grebbedijk, between the Veerweg and the Dijkstraat exit.
For AID Participants, this event is included in the overall programme, along with a delicious evening meal provided by De Patio. Visitors with an external ticket can enjoy surprising international dishes, prepared by the chefs at Food of Cultures. There is a choice of a vegan or a meat dish. Come and enjoy the stunning views over the Wageningen floodplains with a fantastic meal!
As with previous editions, Restaurant & Cultuurplein De Blaauwe Kamer is once again making 200 free tickets available this year for those on a tight budget and asylum seekers. This ensures that Dinner On The Dike XL remains an event where absolutely everyone is welcome.
